At Education Development Trust, our vision is a world in which all lives are transformed through excellent education. We combine global research and our longstanding expertise with regional knowledge to inform education policy and practice and deliver programmes around the world. Through our work and expertise – which spans from early years education right through to post-school careers guidance – we seek to strengthen education systems, transform teaching and learning, ensure effective transitions into work, and contribute to global responses to key education challenges.

Improving school systems is ultimately about improving outcomes for children, and we have vast and rich experience running unique programmes across the globe. From helping marginalised girls to stay at school in Kenya, to designing and delivering high-quality, collaborative and empowering continuing professional development for teachers in the UK, 我们的目标是一致的, but our approach is anchored in the needs in each context.

We have been improving education in the UK for more than 30 years and around the world for more than 50 years. Any surpluses we generate through running programmes are invested into furthering progress towards our mission. This investment includes a globally recognised research programme which is publicly available to all on our website. Our programme of research informs policymakers around the world, as well as our own work in schools in the UK. All of our research is freely available on our website.
